Sunday 3rd April 2022

In your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. 1 Peter 3:15

Today is the conclusion of our four part mini-series on sowing the seed of the gospel. So far we have looked at Confidence, Compassion and Connecting, and today our focus is on Conversion. As with any farming, the goal of sowing is to create a crop that can be reaped. Sowing happens in order to produce a harvest. So today, as well as taking time together to revere Christ as Lord, through worship and communion, we're also going to be considering how we can be prepared to give an answer for the hope that we have. This will include us investigating a few tools that we might be able to use to encourage others to make a decision to know and follow Jesus. One of these is called the Bridge Illustration and if you want to access that to look at either before or after the service, then pleaseCLICK HERE.There will also be some copies of this available at church. Unfortunately, we are not able to livestream this morning's service, but hopefully we'll see you there.

Then, this evening from 5.30pm, we have our Mission Prayer gathering, during which we join together to pray for our overseas Mission Partners. This will take place in our building and all are welcome. We'd love to see you there.

The prayer topics for the coming week can be found byclicking here. Many thanks to Richard Cracknell for again putting these together for us.
