Minister – Portuguese congregation
I am a Brazilian, born in Maceio-AL, and also a Spanish citizen through my mother (my father was Hungarian).
I’ve been living in the UK since 2002, the early years in Manchester and then in Bury St. Edmunds, where my wife Marianne graduated as a GP doctor.
We have four children; Thiago, Lucas, Sarah and Sophia.
Between 2002 and 2006 I was in a Spanish-speaking ministry in Manchester.
From 2007 to 2011, a ministry of a Portuguese congregation in the same city and in the last three years ahead of one of their churches in Leeds.
From January of 2012 at DBC, and in June 2012 I took over as pastor of DBC Portuguese congregation.
Besides the activities related to the work of God, I enjoy watching movies, reading and of course, a good Brazilian barbecue! I do often exercise through fast walking.
I listened to God’s Word, when I was very young, by British missionaries in my hometown. 45 years later, the Lord made me a church pastor in England!
It’s an honor to serve God through his entire family in Dereham Baptist Church.
