My name is Jessica and I became a Christian in my teens, which means I’ve had the joy of being part of God’s wonderful family for nearly 40 years!
Richard and I moved to Norfolk with our three children 20 years ago. We soon discovered DBC, and have been richly blessed by being part of the fellowship.
Our lovely children have now grown up but Amy is still living at home while she does her pre-reg. pharmacy year at the hospital.
Jonathan and Miriam are regular visitors and we play a lot of family board games.
It never ceases to amaze me that God wants close relationship with each one of us and I know His calling on my life is to draw people into greater intimacy with Him.
Over the last 30 years I have lead worship in small groups and church services and never tire of seeing God at work in our midst, drawing us closer and calling us on.
It was my privilege to serve the church as an elder from 2013-2019. I then stood down from leadership, partly because I wanted time to learn more about mental health and to run the Mercy course ‘Keys to Freedom’. This area of ministry is still very much on my heart and I hope to run future courses.
On a lighter note, my interests are gardening, bird watching, walking, Formula 1 and
snooker. I perhaps should also add that I teach at Norwich Business School at UEA
where I very much enjoy working with young people and helping them find their path in
life. I trust God is using me in this role.
