I am proud to have been born and brought up in Dereham. DBC has been a key part of my life for more than 40 years and I thank God for his rich blessing over that time. I was in the Sunday School (and was a bit naughty), in Boys’ Brigade as a boy and then leader (slightly better behaved then) and am now involved with the youth work. I was baptised in the church and it is where I married my wife Anita. We brought up our three children – Emily, Tom and Hannah – at DBC and my Mum Eveline is one of the longest serving members.
I am passionate that as God’s people we reach out to share His love in the heart of Norfolk, especially with the needy and marginalised. I work for the EDP, support the Canaries, still play football (badly) and run a team linked to the church and love a BBQ.
