Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.
Psalm 105:4
Hello to you all once again,
Well, based on the Prime Minister’s briefing yesterday evening, we still have quite a way to go before we see any significant change to our current circumstances. These continue to be difficult days, but we have a God who cannot be restricted by anyone or anything. If you are finding things difficult at the moment, look to him and his strength. Seek his face. All that you need is found in him.
This week we are looking at the H of our God-given shape, which is Heart. If you missed the talk on Sunday morning, or you would like to listen again, you can watch it by clicking here. Today, as we continue on this theme, I am talking about our dreams – those things we long to see happen in our lives. The talk is entitled “How to make your dreams come true!” and you can watch it by clicking here. With a title like that, I’m hoping it might go viral! (But that isn’t my dream!)
If you haven’t yet completed the Heart Assessment that we sent out on Sunday, then please do give it a go. It’s designed to help you to discern the Who, How and What of your God-given heart to serve others. CLICK HERE for an Excel version that you can complete electronically, or CLICK HERE for a PDF version that you can print and complete by hand. If you need a copy printing and sending to you, then please EMAIL JULIE.
The prayer focus this week from the Eastern Baptist Association is on Comberton Baptist Church in Cambridgeshire. Click here for the prayer points. Also, please don’t forget our week of focussed prayer – the topics are in the dark box further down this email.
