Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever,
and his faithfulness continues to each generation Psalm 100:4-5
Welcome to our Remembrance Sunday service, which includes a video made by Reverend Nick Lear from the Eastern Baptist Association, in which he leads us through a time of remembrance. This is designed to be accessible for all ages and included within it is a 2-minute silence. If you want to observe the silence at close to 11am, then you will need to begin the service at around 10:32am(depending on adverts etc). Thanks, as always, to all those who contributed to this week’s service, and please accept our apologies for any missing poppies – we recorded in advance and therefore didn’t all have one in time. You can engage with the whole service by clicking here.
On Monday and Tuesday of this coming week, I am attending a conference as an important part of the process towards my potential accreditation with the Baptist Union. When I say attending, I don’t mean I’m going anywhere other than my spare room, as the entire conference is taking place on Zoom. I have three interviews each day as well as a number of other sessions and I would really appreciate your prayers as I continue through this process.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2
