For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ 1Peter 1:18-19a
We are so precious to our loving Heavenly Father that he redeemed us with something so precious to him, the blood of his one and only son, Jesus Christ. So, as you read this, if you are not feeling special today, know that you are VERY special to God and that you were and are worth it.
Today, we’ll be looking at summarising the notes which were used for the groups during this past week, focusing on what it means for us to be “in Christ”. You don’t have to have been part of one of these groups to understand the talk… There are a number of Bible verses which accompany this and are for you to have a read through and hopefully help to understand what it means for us to be “in Him”. The notice sheet, put together by the wonderful Julie, this week again features the nominees for leadership – in this week’s, each of the potential new deacons share a little about themselves.
