Let’s come into God’s presence today and make a joyful noise together as we engage with him through another of our online services. This is the third in our short series about the Good News. Roy reminded us what the Good News is and Dave helped us to grasp how good the Good News is. Today we’re thinking about how we share the Good News. Whose responsibility is it? What is our role in it? What might we share? You can enjoy and engage with the service by clicking here. Thanks, as always, to all of those involved on both sides of the cameras.
Dave is on annual leave this coming week, and I am away for most of the following week, so this seems like the right time to reduce the number of our messages to you to three a week – Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays – along with our weekly Sunday services. So there will be no email or video tomorrow, but let me encourage you to continue to set the time aside to listen to God through other means – there are countless resources available to you. If you’re not sure how to do that, send us an email and we’ll try to help. The reduction of our messages will also release some time for us as we prepare to begin our small gatherings at church and you can read a bit more about these in the Notice Sheet, which came with yesterday’s email. Keep your ears and eyes open for further details, which will be hopefully be coming soon.
Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20 (NLT)
