Good Day to you All,
With an opener like that maybe this is the point where you imagine me ‘doffing’ or ‘tipping’ my hat as a cultural expression of recognition, respect, gratitude, or simple salutation and acknowledgement (according to the online encyclopedia, Wikipedia). Either way, I do consider it quite an honour to be able to be in regular contact with so many of you through this media and I hope you are doing alright during these times.
What are you hoping for today or maybe for the days to come? Do please let us know.
In Psalm 77 Asaph is writing about his current distress but, to help him through it, he remembers God and his powerful works. He writes (verses 13-14),
Your ways, God, are holy.
What god is as great as our God?
You are the God who performs miracles;
you display your power among the peoples.
Are you struggling today? Consider the wonder of God and what he has done for you in the past.
In today’s message we’ll be looking again at Acts 10. Nigel preached on it yesterday (Sunday) but I was drawn to a particular aspect of it – the Gospel according to Peter. So, if you’d like to watch / listen to it then please CLICK HERE
Today we continue to have the church building open for private prayer between 11am-1pm. Nigel and I will be on the drive to pray for and chat to people as well. Do please pray for us that our message will be clear and that we are able to know the Spirit’s leading during that time.
Be blessed this day, you who are holy and dearly loved (see colossians 3:12)
