Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Are you breathing today? I certainly hope so! The COVID-19 virus attacks our breathing, but the only breath we have is that which God has breathed into us (Genesis 2:7). And so, as the verse above from Psalm 150 reminds us, if you have breath today, you can use it to praise the Lord. So let’s choose to do that together as we engage with our online service, which you can access by clicking here. It’s the fourth Sunday of our series looking at movement in the early church in the book of Acts. Today we are in chapter 10 and pondering the idea of ‘Moving On’. Thanks again to all of those who have been involved in helping us to produce and broadcast this playlist – we hope you find it helpful.
Happy Fathers’ Day to all you fathers out there – I pray that your children are a blessing to you today. And on this special day, let’s all remember to thank our perfect Heavenly Father, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. (Ephesians 1:3) What a wonderful Father we have, and not just for today, but for all eternity!
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
